Tututú. Animated short film project

SYNOPSIS

Weight and weightlessnes are the protagonist of this short film, in which a man and a woman dance letting the weight of their bodies fall away. Movement and sound define the space, generating an atmosphere of hightened senses.
 -------------------------------------------------------------
Le poids et l'apesanteur sont les protagonistes de ce film. Un homme et une femme dansent laissant tomber fortement le poids de leur corps.Le mouvement et le son définissent l'espace dans lequel ils se déplacent, créant une atmosphère de sens excités.

The objective of the project is to express weight and weightlessness as the two complete opposites of the same element: gravity. This will be expressed through the human body: two dancers who move in a white space. The space is determined by the movement (indicated by the surface of the floor), as well as by the sound.
The goal is to create a synesthesic film in which, through the picture and the sound, to evoke the lived movement sensation. The weight of the bodies it will be expressed by the movement, by the textures of the drawing and the sound. The sound will have a particular importance: the wooden floor cracks because of the weight, the feet dragging on the floor, the sound of the dancers falling strongly, etc.
The weight and the force of the gravity will be depicted with progressive emphasis. However the point of view will be changing. The objective of the mobile view is to generated spatial ambiguity. Finally the bodies become weightless and float on the air; every reference of the fulcrum disappears and the sound of the floor vanishes.
